The Discovered People.

Did you ever think about the origin of the town of Coeur d’Alene? It is fascinating, really! First of all, they are one of five recognized tribes in the state of Idaho. The Coeur d'Alene people have control of their Coeur d'Alene Reservation, which includes a significant portion of the lake named after them.

Historically the Coeur d'Alene occupied a territory of approximately 3.5 million acres in present-day Northern Idaho and into Eastern Washington. Fur traders from French Canada in the late 18th and early 19th century referred to the natives reverently as “the heart of an awl” showing great respect for their fortitude!

Today as we approach 2021 and await census results, Coeur d’Alene and the neighbors nearby in Spokane, Washington have an aggregate city population of well over a quarter million residents. When those people need plumbing repair, they simply Google arivercityplumbingservice.com and call the proper number. Happy holidays from A River City Plumbing.
