How Often Should My Drains be Cleaned?

Good question, it is one of the tenants of responsible home ownership.  Healthy drains are a crucial part of any functioning plumbing system.  Think of a blocked drain this way; they aren’t only messy and unappealing, but they can also lead to various severe problems — such as bacteria and germs, and even structural damage!

Perhaps the most crucial reason to schedule regular drain cleaning is to help prevent major plumbing emergencies from occurring throughout your home.   Frequent drain cleaning helps to improve the lifespan of your plumbing system.  Invite a licensed plumber into your home to check your drains on a regular basis.

If you live in Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, and the surrounding area the choice is easy.  Call A River City Plumbing.  For a limited time they are offering $40 off for any drain cleaning review.  Do not let a clogged drain ruin your happy home!  Before any potential disaster strikes call A River City Plumbing.  Those numbers are (509) 954-6567 in Spokane or (208) 659-6565 in Idaho.

What is Hydronic Heating.

This is not exactly a topic that pops up during cocktail parties.  What do you think of the current political climate?  I don’t know, but I am concerned about my hydronic heating!  If you are a home or business owner you merely are concerned about comfort.  In all seasons, that is what matters most.

Hydronics is defined as the use of a liquid heat-transfer medium in heating and cooling systems. The working fluid is typically water, glycol, or mineral oil. Some of the older and most common examples are steam and hot-water radiators.  It simply heats water and moves it through sealed pipes to radiators throughout the home.

So, whom in the Spokane and the Coeur d’Alene area is an expert in the area of hydronic heating.  No surprise here…it is Dan and his professional crew at A River City Plumbing.  When the issue in your home is hydronic heating, pick up the phone for a visit from Dan.  Call (509) 954-6567 before the problem gets out of hand.
