The Rain is Comin’

If you have lived in the greater Spokane area for many seasons you know that October and November can be rainy ones. Statistically those of us who live in this area and around Coeur d’Alene know that any rain can bring disaster to our homes if we do not have a working, functional sump pump ready to go.

Here are some tips on how to test yours –


  1. Unplug the power and plug it back in. If it does not turn on ASAP it may be bad.
  2. Fill your sump pit with enough water to raise the float until the pump kicks on.
  3. Look for a large amount of debris in your sump pump pit.
